When Tiger Shroff was signed as the main lead for Karan Johar’s Student Of The Year 2, speculations were rife that his alleged girlfriend, Disha Patani will be seen sharing screen space with him. But, if a report in Deccan Chronicle is to be believed then it is not happening. Disha Patani will not be a part of Student Of The Year 2. In fact not just Disha, a source close to Karan Johar revealed that Saif Ali Khan’s daughter Sara Ali Khan, who is supposed to make a debut with a Karan Johar film will not be part of the film either. The reason is simple, Student Of The Year 2 is a two heroine project and Sara wants to make her debut in a solo heroine film.
This is not the first time that there were speculations of Disha and Tiger working together. Earlier, there were also strong reports that Disha was supposed to be in Baaghi and not Shraddha Kapoor but as we all can see that didn’t happen either.
In the past the two were seen together in single, Befikra and their hot chemistry in that song quickly became the talk of the town. In fact talking about their alleged relationship, Tiger Shroff had stated on Koffee With Karan, “No, I’m not dating anyone. I have very few friends. I’m not very social and in the industry, I have 2-3 friends, Disha being one of them. She lives close by. We have a common friends circle and we meet every now and then for coffee. She’s so pretty that she makes me look better. She’s a very good-looking girl.”
On the work front, Tiger, whose last film underperformed at the box office, will next be seen in Sabbir Khan’s Munna Michael, alongside Ronit Roy and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Disha Patani, on the other hand made her debut last year in MS Dhoni: The Untold Story and earlier this year was seen in the International film Kung Fu Yoga, alongside Jackie Chan.
