Today we want to take a look at how some of the most pivotal characters have transformed through the show.
The show has taken new twists and turns and so have the characters.
The wait has come to FIVE DAYS for the latest season of one of the most popular shows – Game Of Thrones. Our heads are exploding with several unanswered and speculative theories that we’re hoping will be answered or uncovered sooner or later. One of the most sought out questions for this season is – will Jon Snow return? While that question is yet to be answered (and we dying to know), subsequent audio and title leaks have left us a lot to ponder over. There’s so much to think about and so little time.
But today we want to take a look at how some of the most pivotal characters have transformed through the show. Some of the characters have taken massive leaps and it’s amazing to see the stark difference between their looks in season one to now.
So here are nine characters we believe that have gone through major makeovers through the seasons.
Arya Stark
From the stubborn, strong-willed tomboy in season 1, Arya is now training to be like the faceless men of Bravos although she is visually impaired. We have literally seen Arya grow up in the show. While she has been through a lot and seen too much, Arya’s spirit has remained undeterred and we love her for that!
Cersei Lannister
From being the golden-haired ethereal beauty, she was reduced to a humiliated widow who confessed to the high sparrow for sins of adultery and treason and lost two of her children. Not feeling too sorry though. But we have to admit her new, forced hairdo hasn’t tainted her beauty.
Bran Stark
After being pushed down a tower in season 1, a lot has changed for Bran Stark! In fact, his transformation is the most startling one. He’s come a long way from his innocent child-like face to the now young adult with special, rare powers.
Jamie Lannister
From being the over-smart self-centred boastful son of a b***h, Jamie goes through a complete transformation mentally but physically not so much. But we have to come to the conclusion, beard or not, unkempt hair or not, we still have the hots for Jamie Lannister!
Theon Greyjoy
From Theon to Reek, the journey has been long, traumatic and cruel. He lost his conceitedness along with his confidence at the hands of Ramsay Bolton.. His inward torture transformed him completely on the outside and left him beyond recognition.
The most beautiful of the Starks, Sansa was a complete contrast to Arya when it came to her dressing style, mannerisms and behavior in Season 1. From being the pretty teenager who had stars in her eyes, she has grown to be a more beautiful woman but wiser, bitter and braver.
Tyrion Lannister
Tyrion, the man who conjured magic with his words in season 1 was later left at a loss for them when he was accused of killing his nephew. From the man who enjoyed his glass of wine and indulged in good food, he was left to rot in his own p** in the dungeons. His disheveled look hasn’t affected his tongue though.
Gregor Clegane
The mountain known for his size and brutal killings equally, was feared until Oberyn decided to challenge him in the trail by being Tyrion’s champion. Although, Oberyn was crushed to death, Gregor succumbed to wounds from a poisoned spear only to rise as Robert strong, the man who vowed to keep silence until all the queen’s enemy were dead. His new avatar sure sends child own our spine.
Jon Snow
Leaving the best for the last,
Even though it’s not a major transformation, there’s no rule that we can’t about talk a character especially if he happens to be one of our favourites! He was the unwanted bastard at one point and today he is the 998th ‘dead’ Lord Commander of the Night’s Watch who girls swoon over! This man has stolen too many hearts to count. And we can imagine, the cheer if he comes back to life!
