Rema D’Souza will soon be presenting the world his directorial venture ABCD 2 which stars Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor. Disney India, which is producing the film, has announced that ABCD is now a franchise. That means that ABCD 2 won’t be the only sequel and more ABCD films will be made in the future (quite like how the Step Up franchise works where each film has a different pair of lead actors.)
I met up with Remo while he was out and about promoting ABCD 2 and asked him who he would cast in the next ABCD film aka ABCD 3. Remo expressed his desire to cast the dancing god of Bollywood, Hrithik Roshan in the next installment of the ABCD franchise. He said that he has wanted to make a dance-based film with Hrithik for quite a while now and that if he gets an opportunity to cast Jr Roshan in a film he will grab it with both hands! It doesn’t even have to be an ABCD film, Remo just wants Hrithik to be the lead actor in his next dance-based film!
When I quizzed Remo about the actress he’d cast opposite Hrithik in this sensational project, the director took a long pause and said that he’d probably have to get someone from abroad because he would need a girl who is as good as Hrithik is!
